Preference: StraightHanon was born in Ala Mhigo, the exact location of her tribe is largely unknown but it is thought to have been west of the Ala Mihgan Quarter. Her parents were part of the Ala Mihgan resistance, a group that fought to end the occupation of the Garlean Empire. Her father, who was the nuhn of their small tribe, lead an effort to recapture an important trading route to restore supplies to his people and lost his life in the battle that ensued. Devastated, Hanon's mother whisked her young child away to the Far East, where her own mother had brought her as a child. Hanon's mother settled them in the fishing village of Isari and quickly began to work to support her growing child. To establish a new life, Hanon's mother erased their clan names, giving themselves eastern names.Around the age of 4 Hanon's mother married a local hyur by the name of Katsuoi Shinji, a fisherman by trade and a leader in the Doman Resistance, a group working to end the Garlean occupation of Doma and its surrounding areas. Shortly after Masaomi was born, a hyur Miqo hybrid. Hanon adored her younger brother and made sure that he was always happy and taken care of. Despite the turmoil that wreaked havoc over the lands, the little family lived happily for many years.At age 15 Hanon set out to Yanxia to work in the rice fields, leaving behind her family for the time being to help support them. There she met a few fighters for the Doman resistance and began to train to fight in the cause. Through the years Hanon had seen first hand the atrocities commited by Yotsuyu and the Garleand and though the people of this land were not her kin, they were her family, and she would fight to free them so they might live a peaceful life. One day while training to be a scout she suffered an injury to her face, being too cocky with her apparent adeptness for using blades, her instructor taught her a valuable lesson. Never underestimate the enemy, that's how you lose your life. She was left with a life long reminder. Hanon worked as a spy to gather important intelligence for the resistance.At age 18 the battle for Doma Castle commenced. Having spent so long as a spy Hanon found she had a knack for the healing arts, something that she picked up in the time she spent in Shirogane. She met Gin there, a vieran mercenary from the West who had come to help in the Doman resistance and free Doma from Garlean rule. He was a dark skinned and iron willed man whom Hanon quickly fell in love with. She wanted nothing more than to protect him and her brother, who had joined the resistance shortly after she did, working to reclaim trade routes in The Steppe. With her staff in hand she vowed to use her inate abilities to keep them both alive. On the battle field the three lead their own troops into battle to reclaim Doma Castle. The battle was bloody and many lives were lost, the trio was successful in pushing back the resistance and in the moment they thought they had won, a Garlean shoulder shot and killed Gin right before Hanon's eyes. Lost in a world of red Hanon wreaked havoc with her lovers sword and aided by the remaining forces she and the others were successful in recovering the Castle, a massive win for the Domans.Filled with grief and loss Hanon decided to leave the Far East to explore the world, wanting to find the beauty among the ashes left in her heart. She swore off healing, blaming herself for Gin losing his life, instead she became a mercenary, selling her services to any that would pay. She did anything from clearing ruins, protective services for Scholars and researchers, and even bounties. Through her travels and work she picked up armor craft, having to often repair her armor and weapons on the go. Enjoying the work she began a small business upon her return to Shirogane in an attempt to fund the search for her younger brother. She lived there for many years. It is at this point Hanon meets Mizuki, an unusual auri woman with purple skin and ears where horns should be. The two were quick to form a lasting bond.In her mid-twenties Hanon moved to Empyreum where she continues to work as an armorer and blacksmith supplying the Ishgardians and surrounding areas with weapons and armor. Occasionally she aids Mizuki with mercenary work, recently work took place in Islabard to help clear creatures spawned during the final days.Currently Hanon still resides in Tuliyollal where she accopanied a peculiar Br'aax by the name of Wuk Lamat. Her stories are for now untold as she is reborn anew, a reflection of her past self.

Sexual orientation: StraightHanon, who is decendent from the Lynx tribe, sports a much broader pair of ears than most miqo and a rather fluffy tail, which she inherited from her mother. Like the majority of the kin she has marks on her cheeks, signifying her descendants from the Seeker of the Sun clans. Having found someone in Tuliyollal that could removed her pervious tattoos, intricate designs that spanned most of her body in a symetrical style, she now sports colorful tattoos that have a less eastern feel to them, tribal in nature. The intricate designs adorn her back in swirls of blue and black. She was born with bicolored eyes of an unnatural hue and to this day it is largely unknown as to why her appearance differs so much from her kin. Hanon is often seen in leggings and a button up long sleeved top, though she tries out different styles through the help of her closest friend, who happens to be a seamstress.Hanon recently cut her hair short into a choppy bob after returning from Tuliyollal. There is no one particular reason for this other than she prefers her hair to not be in her face. She is also significantly taller than most miqo.In an incident when she was training to fight in the Doman War, she suffered a cut to her face, just below her eyes and across the bridge of her nose. The cut left a deep scar.

Hanon isn't shy by any means and could talk your ear off if approached, but she is cautious of getting close to people. The loss of her fiancé, Gin, right before her eyes tainted her view on love. Since that day she has let very few people into her inner circle. She keeps an open mind and respects that not everyone shares her views, though some topics she could get a little heated with when discussing.She has a zero tolerance for hate and is quick to defend anyone that is being shown disrespect. Hanon loves the few friends she has dearly and will protect them with a ferocity unlike her small stature.While Hanon may look like a sweet angel she is not one to shy away from a good fight. She lives for battle.

Mizuki TsukiakariHanon and Mizuki met by chance at a bar in Shirogane. The two were instant friends and spent many nights sharing war stories over a glass of fine Whiskey. When Hanon left The Far East after the Doman War concluded, she fell out of touch with Mizu, until the two came across each other once more in the icey lands of Coerthas, working in Ishgard. Their time spent there only grew their bond and they became like sisters, inseparable. Mizu and Hanon are often out working mercenary jobs or exploring the night life in the cities.

Syrinne ShadowmoonSyrinne came into Hanon's life out of the blue, being introduced to each other through a mutual connection: Mizuki. The two became very close and bonded over their shared loss of their parents and their rather unconventional childhood. Eldri and Hanon met while Hanon spent some time in Rhalgr's reach. Eldri was one of the remaining Monk instructors and taught Hanon the ancient ways. Like Hanon, Eldri lost loved ones in the reclamation of Ala Mhigo and the Final Days.

Kohara Nelhah (OC character - available for rp)Kohara came into Hanon's life like a breath of fresh air. The miqo had an attractive, confident air about her that Hanon could not ignore. Masaomi Shinji (OC)Masaomi is Hanon's half-brother, born of a miqo'te mother and hyur father. This difference can be noted in his overall height and lack of a tail. He specialized in swordmanship to aid in the reclamation of Doma and later Ala Mhigo. Masaomi now spends most of his time in Kugane as a guard for the East Aldernard Trading Company.
